A VALENTINE EPISTLE PIECE BY:
EPISODE 1
Dear Future Wife,
Who are you? Where have you been all this while? What is taking you so long?
These girls out here been showing me “shege”. I have lost hope on love and feel broken waiting for you. It has been a rollercoaster so far, I have learnt a lot of things and that is not surprising when I have been taught so many lessons.
The interesting part of waiting for you is that I do not believe in soulmates, simply put, I do not feel that there is a special someone made for me, I find the whole idea absurd and impractical, and who in particular is this divine matchmaker designated to boo people up?
I probably need to have a word with this person or entity because why can’t he/she/it just drop you off at my doorsteps just like how Storks do with babies.
Anyways future wife, in this dance of fate, I’ll be here, trusting in love’s perfect date and please do not be tardy.
Your Future Forever
EPISODE 2
Dear Future Wife,
I would love nothing more than to spend my evenings with you, in the couch with your head on my chest and my fingers running through your hair, laughing hard while watching our favourite show.
We will create memories our minds will find solace in when we miss each other and at that point the rest of the world won’t matter.
When there is no TV, please drown me in the tales of your day, I mean how else will I know that the missing cannulas and gloves were finally found in Pandora’s hidden stash, I have to be abreast with the latest drama. Falling asleep in each other’s arms would definitely be the highlight of my evening and I would not prefer it any other way.
Anyways future wife, in this dance of fate, I’ll be here trusting on love’s perfect date and please do not be tardy.
Your Forever Companion
EPISODE 3
Dear Future Wife,
What will you like us to do for date night? The kids have been shipped to their granny and gramps, so we have a lot of time on our hands. Would you like to try out the new menu at your favourite restaurant or you will prefer to catch a movie? Who says we cannot do both.
Maybe we can just drive around town, hopefully electric cars are much more common then so fuel prices would have nothing on us. But why choose a night while we can do an entire weekend and have an adventure in the great outdoors, let us discover a new trail together or conquer that mountain or better yet have a weekend getaway to a beach house far away from town.
Just know whatever we finally decide on I will be down for it.
Anyways future wife, in this dance of fate, I’ll be here trusting on love’s perfect date and please do not be tardy
Your Forever Buddy
