Dear God,
Here’s a random “thank you” for all the different versions of the Bible. Thank you for eliminating all excuses I can present to not understand the Bible.
On the days where KJV seems to make no sense, I bless you because there’s NLT to just make life so simple. Now there’s The Message (MSG) translation that is like wisdom on the rooftop shouting the Word into our spirits.
The Passion translation is like a song, a love song if you will, and there’s NKJV that quietly dissolves into your spirit, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. The Amplified, and it’s classic edition? Truly classic. The Easy version is too easy, it demystifies You.
Thank you for the days where NIV is like cold water on a hot day, and the days where CEV tells exactly what I need to hear, but above all, thank You for the Spirit who leads me into all Truth. May all the blessings come upon me and overtake me, even as I obey Your voice through Your Word.

My personal favourites are NLT and NKJV. I just love how easy they are to understand most times and how they get you thinking and delving deeper to truely understand at the same time.
