That Jesus is not just a mere Prophet nor just someone who behaves & acts the same way as God because He has been with God for long? Some even say He is the spokesperson of God. Hard to digest right?

Pause, do you know that – Jesus is God? I mean the Almighty One, the Supreme One, the One who has the power to lay down His life & take it back? That is who Jesus is and more.

Some argue that Jesus is not God because the Bible says He’s positioned “at the right hand side of the Father but what they don’t know is that they actually misquote the Bible. It is in fact stated in several parts of the Word that He is positioned at the right hand of God, Hebrews 1:3 being one of the popular references.

Does it not mean to wield the exact authority as the boss when one is claimed to be a right hand man? Is His word not law just as the boss’ word is? When He gives orders, is it not considered as orders from the boss Himself?

Did we read the Bible where it is written; “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God”? Note that it didn’t say a god but God. You read John 8:58 and Jesus answers the Jews saying, “before Abraham was I Am“?

Now what did God tell Moses to tell the Israelites in Exodus 3:14; “I Am has sent me to you”. What about what we read in John 10:30 where Jesus said; “I and my Father are one”, and it is also written in John 14 where Jesus told His disciples; “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father…Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?”

If these scriptures are not proof enough that Jesus is God indeed, then we really need our Christian lives reassessed. Let us not continue in blunder by thinking less of who our Saviour is, in so we may serve Him right. May the Lord bless us & keep us in Him as we get to know Him deeply and live right by Him.
