The God Who Sees Me

There she was,

In the corner of what was once called her safe haven.

There she sat

Shriveled with fear and uncertainty

Wondering how she got herself into that state

Desperately needing her Saviour

Just one breath Lord, Just one breath

I need you, she said

She clung to her chest. Longing for intimacy with her Savior

Longing for Him to enter her safe haven

“Please Lord” she whispered one last time

And there He was,

He came with such peace and reassurance

He called her by name and said you’re mine

I am El ROI, the God who sees you

And that was all it took

For her to recover

For one word from her Saviour, was more than a thousand love letters from her soulmate
