Agoo Ghana!

Agoo Ghana man mba!

I bring you all greetings from the Western part of Ghana

Our beloved country is 66 years since Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah toiled ‘dze gye Ghana si nara ne nan do’. (Toiled to gain independence for Ghana)

We sing; “God bless our homeland Ghana”, an anthem that sends chills down the spine, turning anyone into a true patriot.

‘Anokwale, Nyame abless’ Ghana with numerous resources; both natural and human alike

As He has also blessed her with we the Fantes and our husbands the Ewes, also with our in-laws the Sisalas and the Nanumbas.

‘D3m nti y3 ne Nkranfo na 3fa adwin na y3 ne Wasa fo ato nsa edzidzi’. (And so we reason with the Gas and eat together with the Wasas).

Have I not mentioned your tribe yet? Know that as for you, you are my body-body.

It is amazing how in our workplaces, our market places, in the church  we are all surrounded by various tribes and languages, and the most beautiful thing about it is; when I step on my neighbour’s toes, ‘Nea 3w) s3 me y3 ne s3’ I do the Bamaya dance, he smiles with the Kpalongo, we hi-five in the Kente and everything is resolved.

As we are all members of Christ’s body, just so He has made every tribe one in Himself.

Therefore, there is no enmity between Efo Prayer Warrior and Awula Chorister, nor between 3no Meeters & Greeters and Abrantie3 usher.

That being said, we do not and will not – engage in tribal wars, for we find our peace in our Lord Jesus Christ.
