It was such an honour to experience the word from Apostle Abraham Gadzi who is a Bivocational minister and a French speaker. His keynote message was delivered as “The excellency in the exercise of 5 powers”.

In Genesis 1:28-31, he taught of how God gave man a specific message and task to accomplish as God gave him dominion to subdue and rule over things of the earth.

He went on to exhaust the point of excellence. What is excellence? Excellence in his viewed was “The quality of being superior and a role model ”. The power of excellency is to reflect the positivity and attitude of a great power.

Every power, he said, needs to be exercised excellently to show dominance and he noted these powers as:

1. The spiritual power. This he noted is the most important power of them all. At every stage in our lives as Christians he admomished us to develop and nurture the spiritual kind of power.

2. The intellectual power. A learned man who has great knowledge is deemed as having intellectual power. He encouraged us Christians to put emphasis on this power as it is the gift of building intelligence and a strategic persona.

In the other half of the session, the people were blessed with the ministration of Apostle Eric Nyamekye, his keynote message being the Question asked by the Jews to Jesus “What must we do, to do the works required by God”. Bible references were made from John 6:26-29, John 6:32-34, John 6:65-66, John 10:41-43, Ephesians 4:17-22.

Apostle made us understand that as a church it is important to reorient people to the things of God and there are two Principles a church should follow;

• He pointed out how believing in God helps the church gain eternal life. We must build strong churches and establish good beliefs.

• The believer is created to do good works of God, in reference to Titus 2:13-14.

As a church Apostle Eric admonished that we stand firm and accept redemption from God and not fear death or become slaves to sin. We have an Anchor that keeps our soul in Christ Jesus.
