SES Day 3 – Morning


The Wednesday morning session of the Supernatural Empowerment Summit delved into the importance of ministerial holiness and the potential threats that can hinder one’s destiny.

Rev. Dr. Steve Wengham and Bishop Joseph Imakando delivered impactful messages that emphasized the significance of holiness and its impact on ministry and personal growth.

Rev. Dr. Steve Wengham’s presentation focused on How to Work the Works of God: The Role of Ministerial Holiness”, with bible reference Mark 1:21-30.

He laid down some Key Points pertaining to the subject matter…

1. Holiness involves separating oneself from sin and all acts of uncleanliness; a process that aligns with God’s absolute moral purity and perfection.

2. Ministerial holiness is indispensable and creates discomfort in the kingdom of darkness, limiting the activities of demons and establishing the authority and power of the man of God.

3. Holiness amplifies preaching and teaching, making ministry impactful, influential, and insightful while also drawing attention and recognition.

4. Investing in deepening holiness allows ministers to operate in the supernatural leading to miraculous manifestations and causing positive controversy that brings fame and recognition to the Kingdom.

In the second part of the session, participants were more than excited to receive once again, Bishop Joseph Imakando. Their excitement did not come as a surprise as the servant of God had in the previous days been a tremendous blessing and impactful to all SES members, both online and in-person.

For one more time, the Bishop delivered a powerful message titled “Don’t Blow Your Destiny” referencing 2 Kings 5:15-27 as the main scripture.

In exegesis, he impacted participants with the knowledge that;

1. Ministry should not be driven by greed or personal gain. Instead, it requires dedication, sacrifice, and a heart aligned with the love of God.

2. Greediness in ministry leads to lying and false pretenses which ultimately hinder blessings and expose individuals to judgment.

3. Faithfulness and contentment with what one has contribute to the fulfillment of one’s destiny while unfaithfulness delays blessings.

4. Maintaining loyalty, guarding one’s heart and avoiding the temptation to prioritize money over ministry are crucial to preserving one’s destiny and living a holy life.

The audience actively engaged with the speakers during the morning session, showing keen interest in the messages ministered. The messages resonated deeply, prompting introspection and reflection on personal holiness, ministry motivations and the significance of loyalty, faithfulness and contentment.
